Ellie had her first t-ball game this past weekend. She got the first run of the season! Now, she was first at bat, all kids bat, all kids run the bases, there are no outs, we don't keep score and no one wins or looses, but hey...we can still be proud of her! Some of the high lights of the game were flower picking, potty breaks, running off the field for a snack (Ellie), the ball getting hit right to a kids glove and him not even noticing, chasing your own ball that you just hit off the tee into the outfield along with the players from the other team (my favorite of the day). And the kids favorite part...the cookies and juice at the end of the game! Fortunately, the other team was just as clueless as ours, and the kids just loved hearing their parents cheer for them from the sidelines. Again, mostly clueless and not really understanding why people were cheering for them, but loving it all the same! Yeah, Ellie!
